Alcoholic beverages and fermented beverages have evolved along with human beings, who have found in them sources of knowledge, inspiration and connection to the spiritual world. Currently, through the elaboration of these ancestral beverages, the knowledge and traditions of the original cultures are kept alive. With the intention of glorifying and sharing these techniques, we use Mexican distillates, fruits and seasonal herbs to create our cocktails and thus form our ritual.

About Ritual

RITUAL was born with the purpose of showing our most precious passion, sharing a gastronomic proposal with a casual touch that will surely resonate in your most basic instincts.

The purpose of this project is to travel back in time, to return to the elemental, artisanal, primitive, sensory and rudimental, guaranteeing a unique experience through the mastery of wood fire techniques.

Family

Federico Cappi and Horacio Dardano, originally from Uruguay, come from immigrant families who traveled from Europe to work the land. Their attachment to Mediterranean cuisine comes from their roots, along with farm products, preserves, and traditional South American cooking over a wood fire.

During their first steps as cooks, they spent some time working in the best culinary and tourist destinations on the Uruguayan coast, Punta del Este and José Ignacio, gaining experience in professional kitchens and event production.

More than designing a menu, it is creating an atmosphere, a story, and unexpected combinations. A communal table, abundant, full of conversation, of exquisite spirits where the ritual is created and the magic happens.

HOW DO EVENT MENUS WORK?

You will be asked to pre-select different menu options for your guests. A customized menu will be created for your event that will include your selections/requests. Prices are per person.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS / ALLERGIES?

Our pre-sale survey covers this and other necessary information so that we can curate a menu to meet your needs.

DO YOU PROVIDE OTHER SERVICES IN ADDITION TO FAMILY DINNERS?

We offer a variety of services, from canapés and brunchesto taco stations and cocktails. Please contact us for more information.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK MY EVENT?

Book as far in advance as possible. We appreciate your cooperation in booking in advance so that we can plan staffing, supplies and coordination of the event. Final guarantee is due at least 15 days prior to the event. We ask that no changes to your menu are made after your Final Guarantee has been received. Your event must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to the event.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN ATTEND?

We can cater events for a minimum of 50 people and a maximum of 120 people. However, there is always room for negotiation! Please contact us.

WILL YOU PROVIDE WAITERS AND BAR STAFF?

Yes, we provide every staff member we may need depending on the number of guests you have to guarantee the best service.

DO YOU PROVIDE RENTALS (PLATES, SILVERWARE, NAPKINS)?

We provide plates, silverware, and any other items you may need, but it has an additional cost.

DO YOU DO TASTINGS?

As we are an itinerant kitchen, we do not have a physical space for a tasting. However, if the client has or finds a space to do it, we will be happy to show you.

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO PAY UPFRONT TO BOOK AN EVENT?

We require a 50% deposit to book the event and the balance is due one (1) month prior to the event.No event will be confirmed without deposit payment.

DO YOU REQUIRE ELECTRICITY, WATER OR ACCESS TO THE KITCHEN?

Although it is not 100% necessary, it is always a plus to have running water and electricity to do our job properly. This will also depend on the location and what is expected from RITUAL. All details will be defined in the Catering Agreement.
